The change process is under way

Just as was reported in NOT i CIR last January  ( Vol. 3 ;  No 1;  2006 ), Julián Sánchez- Cortazar, M.D., who was given the task to coordinate the change process by the General Assembly held in Chicago, is now reviewing, along with the members of the Bylaws and Ethics Committee, the received proposals which are to be sent to the Advisor of the National Groups members of the College during this month of April.

According to the resolutions of the above mentioned Assembly, the Advisors shall make their proposals and comments via e-mail during the month of April so as to integrate the document that the Commission will submit for final discussion at the Extraordinary Assembly that has been summoned for such purpose during the next  XXII Interamerican Congress of Radiology.

The following doctors participate in the Bylaws Committee: Helios Calvo Yeltsin ( Paraguay ), Andrés Peralta Corneille ( Dominican Republic ), Francisco Mirambel ( Costa Rica ), Francisco Arredondo              ( Guatemala ) and Julián Sánchez Cortazar ( Mexico ), who together with the Appointed Advisors authorized by the National Societies and the CIR Board of Directors, shall make the collegiate body that will participate in the Extraordinary Assembly.

RadiologyInfo

RadiologyInfo , is an information page that has been designed jointly between the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the American College of Radiology (ACR), to provide information for physicians and patients about radiological issues, and particularly about each one of the main radiological procedures, US, CT, MRI, Interventional, etc.

You may consult the page in English or Spanish at: www.rsna.org

Welcome to RadiologyInfo

RadiologyInfo
is designed to answer questions about many procedures and radiological treatments available for you and your family.  Whether you are preparing for a first mammography, or you wish to find out more about an X-ray for a child, or inquire about oncological radiology procedures (cancer treatment), the web site will provide the information.

RadiologyInfo will let you know how several radiological, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, radiotherapy procedures are done.  You will also learn what you may feel while the procedures are done and how you have to prepare for them.  The site does not cover all radiological procedures and therapies, but new information is constantly added for updating purposes.

The content in RadiologyInfo is reviewed and approved by ACR and RSNA radiology experts, as well as from other professional radiology organizations.
