Posters to Help Patients Prepare for Imaging Tests
The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is pleased to announce the publication of a series of innovative posters designed to provide patients with the necessary information before, during and after various diagnostic imaging procedures. The “Image for Imaging” project has been led by the ESR's Patient Advisory Group (PAG), made up of patients, medical imaging professionals and healthcare stakeholders. It aims to improve the quality and accessibility of the information patients receive before undergoing a radiological test by providing them with visual and easy-to-digest information to help them prepare for the procedure. ESOR Foundation Courses 2024
The ESOR Foundation Courses are aimed at residents in their 4th and 5th year of radiology training and newly certified radiologists. The European Board of Radiology (EBR) recommends these courses as one of the tools to help prepare for the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR). The courses adhere to levels I and II of the European Training Curriculum in Radiology (ETC) and are taught by renowned European faculties. Each session includes six topics consisting of 40 minutes of theory and case presentations, followed by live question and answer sessions. Don’t miss the new course this month: ‘‘Musculoskeletal Radiology’’ on November 6th! The European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) has awarded the course 5 European CME credits (ECMEC®).
