The Federación Argentina de Asociaciones de Radiología, Diagnóstico por Imágenes y Terapia Radiante (FAARDIT) has renewed its Board of Directors, which remains as follows:

Dr. Claudio Bonini, president of the CIR, with Dr. Luis Alberto Chávez, president of the Peruvian Society of Radiology, during the 28th Peruvian Congress of Radiology 2024, which was held in Lima, Peru, from October 3rd to 5th. Dr. Bonini attended the event as a Professor within the CIR-Visit program of the CIR.

The Dominican Society of Radiology presents the recognition as “International Honorary Member” to Dr. Jorge Vidal during the 2nd Course of Radiology Updates for his broad experience in continuing education in SODORAD for more than 10 years.

Dr. Jorge Soto attended, as CIR Professor, the 31st National Congress of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Imaging and the 17th SIBIM Congress 2024 from October 15th to 19th.

Dr. Claudio Bonini, president of the CIR, also attended the congress on behalf of the Interamerican College of Radiology.

On Wednesday, November 20th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Mexico City time, will be held the 37th CIR Webinar on “Artificial Intelligence in Radiology 2024.”

 “Evidence-based guidelines to assist referring physicians and other providers in making the most appropriate imaging or treatment decision for a specific clinical condition.” The guidelines are developed and reviewed annually by expert panels in diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology in order to enhance quality of care and contribute to the most efficacious use of radiology.
