eBook for Undergraduate Education in Radiology Gets a New Look
We are pleased to announce that the ESR eBook for Undergraduate Education in Radiology is sporting a new look and has been renamed Modern Radiology. The new title better encompasses the modern approach with its concise pages combining text, images, diagrams, clinical cases, question-and-answer sections, and quick-access hyperlinks to chapters on technical issues and chapters dedicated to specific organs. While initially developed for undergraduate students and faculty, Modern Radiology now also includes advanced content that is closely intertwined with the European Graduate Training Curriculum in Radiology. This expansion has been made according to the feedback received from medical professionals around the world, who value the eBook as a resource to acquire both basic knowledge and to deepen their knowledge in the field of diagnostic imaging. The first chapters are already available under the new name!
ESOR Foundation Courses 2025
The ESOR Foundation Courses are aimed at residents in their 4th and 5th year of radiology training and newly certified radiologists. The European Board of Radiology (EBR) recommends these courses as one of the tools to help prepare for the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR). The courses adhere to levels I and II of the European Training Curriculum in Radiology (ETC) and are taught by renowned European faculties. Each session includes six topics consisting of 40 minutes of theory and case presentations, followed by live question-and-answer sessions. Don't miss the first 2025 course on Cardiovascular Imaging to be held on January 22nd, 2025. For this event, accreditation of European Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits will be requested from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). All ESOR Foundation Courses are included in the ESR Premium Education Package. In addition, all 2024 basic training courses are now available with Spanish and Portuguese subtitles.
